Day 27 of 40

Howdy!

The sun came for a visit today and stayed all day.  It was wonderful.  John and I sat on the front porch and combed our sweet dog in the sunshine.  My arms are not cold anymore.

Today the lesson is titled:  Double Circle.
The Takeaway is:  If you want to break the sin habit, you've got to establish a prayer habit.

The scripture is Matthew 17: 18-21

18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief;  for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Today, I feel like nothing is impossible for me.  I love this challenge and I know it has changed my thoughts and goals.  Prayer is an amazing tool to talk to God and grow in myself.  I have a huge filling of faith, love and grace.  I use to carefully go to God with my request and now I rejoice in the opportunity to do so.  I decide today to fast from Facebook and recommit to no television.  I was falling back into a little HG television and than falling asleep in the recliner.  I want to fall asleep in bed after my knee prayer is shared with Jesus.  I always have something to do in the kitchen.
I have double circles some of my needs with a "double circle."  I continue to pray for family restoration, finances, myself, John, Julie, Joey, Katelyn and Will Jr..  I always include Julie's husband and Katelyn's husband.  God has huge plans for my family.  We will serve the Lord!    John's arms already look better.  Easter is coming and I am expecting big answers to my prayers.  Oh, I have been praying for a new building for my church family.  I pray God will make a way for us all to worship in a big building for growth.  We have big plans for the lost and taking our city and county over to Christ.
The promise for today is:  When you pass through turbulent waters, I will be close to you.
                                                                                Isaiah 43: 2
May your be blessed tomorrow with double blessings.  I am praying for you!
Love is in the ink!
Love is in my heart!
Love, Mary Kay
