Greetings!
It is hard to believe that this is day 33. The days have been flying by. I am sad to know that in one week and it will
be over. I will never forget the power
and words of Mark Batterson. I love
being on my knees in front of the Lord.
The title of today's lesson is: Prayer
Covering
The takeaway is:
If you intercede for others, make sure others are interceding for
you.
The foundation verses are: Matthew 18: 19-20
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on
earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my
Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gathers in my name, there
am I with them.”
I desire to have a prayer partner. One that will pray in agreement and can be
trusted with not twisting the needs to others in the form of gossip. I wish it was my husband, but he is only
interested in his health issues at this time.
God will send someone my way. I
have been praying that my daughter would come and we could pray together. She has other interested at this time. John’s skin doctor opened the door to his
love for the Lord today. He asked me to
keep him in prayer and in return, I shared with him about finding someone that
would intercede for my needs too. I
asked him to pray for John. He was very
open to the suggestion. In fact, our
pharmacy called him asking about a different brand of cream for John, because
the co-payment was going to be 99.00. He
called me and sent me a coupon for the same medicine for 38.50 at a CVS. I had to travel to the nearest CVS but for
that savings it was worth it. God used
his (the doctor) prayers and mine for a quick answer.
I am asking God to bless his work and continue to help heal people. God was in our midst.
John has been a handful today. He can be very stubborn and today was one of
those days. It makes me want to cry. I also am praying for a man that has had some
heartbreaking events in his life. He
reached out to me and I took that as a clue from God to pray for him. Please pray for others and don’t be afraid to
ask others to pray for you. God put you
here for a purpose as He did me. Let’s
pray for each other.
The promise for today is: My
mercy will overrule judgement. James
2:13.
May the Lord bless you and keep you and may His face
shine all over you.
Love is in the ink!
Love is in my heart!
Love, Mary Kay
