Good Morning!
,Another great day is coming! The sun is already shining and I saw a notice that Fall is only 30 days away. That is all great news for me.
This morning, I dreamed about paths. Several years ago, in a workshop, the audience was asked to visualize a perfect place to meet God. I still visit that place. This morning, I visited the white bench that my imagination placed in that place. This time, I saw the beautiful flowers from my Great Grandmother's garden. It was a flower garden in a long 6 or 8 foot plot. The hollyhocks were planted as the backdrop for other flowers. I have always thought hollyhocks were beautiful. The flowers had a velvet texture and the colors ranged from pink in a deep rose. I don't remember a smell, but my eyes were so busy that it left no room for my other senses. Our backyard has suffered the last couple of years. John built an arbor that is ready for a planting of a vine type flower. I love morning glories and the colors they produce. We had a little vine of yellow corn flowers a few years ago. They were only an annual. As the days have become sunny, I long to rake up the ground and prepare to plant some flowers and herbs. I lost my plants to the freeze this year. I was sick and they were not covered and brought in. My friends have wonderful plants and I know they will share with me. I also want to buy a white bench like the one in the vision. A place to wait on the Lord. I
The devotional journal written by my friend, Kay Hill shared that a path is waiting for me. She said, " Your good life has been made for you, too; .it's waiting for you, a path leading to the good life". My path has been amazing when I invite God to join me on the journey.
"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
I love the plans God has given me and I look forward to the new ones He still has.
Promise for today is: I am seated in the heavens and My kingdom reigns over all. Psalm 103: 19
Have a great day and smell the flowers along the way.
Thank you for being great followers. I love each one of you.
Love is in the ink!
Lord teach me to love like you love.
Mary Kay
