Good Morning,
Just came back from taking my son to work so I could have the car. Maybe next week, I will shop for a new vehicle. I can't say I miss not having a car every day. Today, I have to go pay the taxes and the insurance on the car. I love the little community where I am going. They have a great Re-Sale Shop so I might take a quick look at the treasures it holds. Not that I need anything. However, I would never turn down a good bargain on a box of lace or something for my junk journals. But, before, I do all of that, I am going to finish this blog post and go back to bed. I love a sweet nap from 8 to 10, under the quilt of warmth.
Last night was the State of the Union address and it was so reassuring. President Trump is a man with a vision to make America great again. He has accomplished some great things this last year. My country was being almost totally destroyed by crooks, criminals and friends of Obama and the Clinton's. I do believe God is sending Godly men and women to our government and she will be strong and trustworthy under the Trump administration. He isn't perfect but he has a heart for America. The democrats sure messed up in the all black, pouting, not standing, or clapping. It shows just how hard it is our Country to move forward with such insane negative attitudes on the other side. When, I was in college in the 80's the political science professor, encouraged the class to take an interest in politics sometime in their lives. I am interested. I have been interested since that horrible Benghazi show of lies and lack of compassion for our left behind Americans. I still think about the families that loss and were told such huge lies. I pray for my country, president, and her people. In God, I trust. The truth will set them free. Warning! Don't mess with God!
Hopefully, today I will finish reading the book of Genesis. I am ready to read the story of Joseph and his life of struggles. God did an amazing work in that man's life. The brother's did not see the blessings that God had and because of that ...............they missed the big blessings. Sin keeps us from God.
Here it is almost 8 pm and I still haven't finished this post. Sorry! I do not have my strength back yet, so I couldn't wait to get home and take a nap. Tomorrow, I can stay home all day and maybe I can cut, paste and create. Valentines is coming and I want to make some little paper pads with hearts.
I pray your day has been great and tomorrow will be even better. God loves you and He waits to spoil you with His lavish love.
The promise for today is: Not one of My promises will every fail you. Joshua 23:14
Looking forward to my new study with the Circle Maker. If you haven't read that book, go to the library and see if they have it. Mark Batterson the author, lives in Washington DC and walks and prays all around the Capital and other monuments. He planted the idea in me about unpacking my casket. It has been wonderful to give things away to those that I love and know will appreciate my stuff. February 14, is the start of the study. I am so ready.
I love you all. I am asking God to help me love like He does.
Love is in the ink.
Love, Mary Kay
