Day 3 of 40

Wow!

This day can't get any better.  The study has already joined my prayer time.  Having God next to me as I kneel in prayer is breathtaking.  His presence guides me and I am reminded of His greatness.  The morning prompt was:
Sometimes God delivers us from our problems; sometimes Go delivers us through our problems.

My job is not to do amazing things for God.  We are to consecrate ourselves to God.  Let God fight for you.  No need to fight for Him!  I am blown away at looking at prayer so differently.

Read Matthew 26: 36-39 and see how Jesus demonstrated surrendering His will to God.  He was overwhelmed with sorrow.

This morning, I surrendered my plans to God again.  I picked the hardest plans and gave forgiveness to someone once again.
The last question in the study guide for today was to list something that I need to surrender to Christ.  He gave three hints.  It could be a talent, time, or treasure.  I have treasured a large black trunk in my living room that is full of stories and history of my mother's side of the family.  Today, I gave that to Jesus.  It was just a season in my life.  It no longer guides my life.  Jesus does!

I need a cleansing!  I look forward to a cleansing. My circle is getting bigger.  :)

Go to your library if you would like to read the books.  They are awesome!

John had an appointment with the VA doctor  today. He got a flu and pneumonia shot.  We both commented on what a great staff they have and how friendly they are.

The promise for today is;  I will keep you safe because no one can snatch you out of My hand.
                                                                            John 10:29

Tomorrow is a new day and I can hardly wait to see what God has planned.  I am asking Him to bless you and draw you closer to HIM.  Why settle for the crumbs of life when you can have Jesus.

Love is growing and the ink is full of love.
Love you,
Mary Kay
