Sluggish

Dearest Readers!

Every once and awhile my blood pressure take a downward turn.  Today was one of those days.  I am just feeling back to normal now.  I wondered why, I was sluggish all day.  John keeps track of his blood pressure but I don't unless I have a day like today.  I really don't like taking medicine and I often think of going herbal.   Not yet! I have some work to do to make it better first.

In between resting, I did get the living room cleaned.  The floors look great now and so does the window sill.  Our dog, Abbey left lots of scratches and last week, John sanded it down and I painted it.  We moved the furniture around so Miss Abbey can no longer stand at the window with her front paws on the sill looking out.  She watches for Joey and has a built in clock for when he comes in the morning.  She loves Joey.  I am not sure I will put the Christmas tree up this year.  I will decided after Thanksgiving.  The living room is clean and that is all that counts.

The word for today is  Body.  The Bible sometimes refer to it as your temple. The verse defines it as a scared place of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible reference verse is:  I  Corinthians 6:19-20 from the Message.
Or didn't you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit?  Don't you see that you can't live  however you please, squandering what God paid such a  high price for?  The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works.  So let people see God in and through your body.

This could be my wake up call.  To take better care of my body.  John tries to walk a couple times a day.  Maybe it is time to join him.  That sluggish feeling is not good.  Some weight loss would help too.

The promise for today is:  I will give you power over the enemy and nothing will hurt you.

May you be blessed with a wonderful rest tonight and may tomorrow bring you great joy.

Love is in the ink.
