Miracles

Good Morning!

Excitement fills my soul this morning.  It is 4 a.m. and I have been reading and covering my journal in prayers, ink and thoughts.  I have been given the opportunity to do some  heavy duty praying for others lately.  I wish you could get into my heart and see the joy that overflows there.  I love how God gives me an idea and than after prayer and thought it starts coming together.  I have been praying for a miracle about something and this morning God spoke to my heart.  He told me,  He had given me the  miracle a long time ago and it was time to bring it into the light.  My eyes want to flow with tears of joy as I type this.   Yes, I have had that miracle for a long time!  I have so much to share, but I need to wait until I have more details.  Not my plan but HIS!  I serve an awesome God!

Last Tuesday, at the Writer's Group, the wonderful, sweet and beautiful  leader and hostess gave each of us a present of  a wooden Christmas ornament with a word on it.  I picked "Joy." It was a prompt for the hour plus writing time.   I didn't write about Christmas joy!  I wrote about another joy I had experienced that week.  I believe, I have "Joy" all year long.  Christmas 365 days a years!  So much to be thankful for.  On the way out the door, she gifted me a journal.  On the cover it said, "Do more of what makes you AWESOME."   I wasn't sure at the time, if I should wait to use the journal or just tuck it away.  I loved the title and it kept looking back at me.  Then I decided it would be a great Thanksgiving journal.  I quickly started listing some things, I was thankful for.  Then I noticed the ribbon bookmark and I marked the middle of the journal and started writing down verses that I thought could bring light to my book in the making.  God gives me great "Joy" in His word.  Here are some photos that allow you to see some of my "Joy."

For some time, I have been wanting to memorize more of the word.  My thoughts are mostly small, but today they are huge.  I have decided to challenge myself to a whole chapter. The choice would be be Psalm 103.  It may take a while,  so I will do one verse at a time and use that verse on this blog until I have accomplished it all.  This chapter is like rain drops of blessings to me.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have a little shopping to do today to make the dinner marvelous.  It will be a quiet meal.  John, Joey and myself.  I am blessed!  Time to eat, time to pray and time to rest.  We had several opportunities to join others, but are blessed with this choice.

The verse today is:  Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
                                                                 Psalm 103: 1

The Promise for Today is:  My children will overcome the world through their faith.
                                                                1 John 5:4

May you find joy today in all you do.  Share it with others.
Love is in the ink.
