October 7, 2017

Greetings!

It is almost 7:30 pm. but I wanted to share with  you my day.  I serve a Mighty Powerful God and He does amazing things in my life and those around me.  If you don't know Him, please find a good church and someone on fire for Him to tell you.  I am always willing to help where and when I can.  John always goes to bed at exactly 8 pm so it will not be long and he will be coming to tell me good night.

Today, I went to Aglow.  It is a an amazing group of men and women that love the Lord and share what He is doing in their lives.  I use to go to Aglow when I lived in Stephenville.   This was a  group of about 30 and the speaker was Chaplain Janet M. Hunter.  She worked for 14 years with Hospice.  She had some amazing stories of patients that crossed over the other side.  It was so interesting and a gifted speaker and author.  She wrote the book titled:  Miraculous Supernatural Encounters.   I now have her book and look forward to learning more.  The introduction named a lady that taught her and me many things.  I smiled because I had taken one of her 3 day workshops.  After my two days with the painters, I came away with many new thoughts.  I thought about the wonderful education, I have received not only in college, but during my years working at the Children's Home, other wonderful workshops and days like today.  My college education cost lots of money, but God provided in many amazing ways.  He asked me to share some of things I have learned with those that need it.  He also warned me that many people are to stubborn to hear any of it and not to waste my time.  He will send me the ones interest in my  free  gifts of knowledge.  I can't wait to dig my heart into the book.

Today, I opened my dream up again and am ready to work on my book.  The title of my book will be:  Born Ugly.   It is based on my life and that of the Ugly Duckling written by Hans Christian Anderson. I am on the childhood part of my life.  However, I have many of the chapters ready to insert when the time is right.  I am hoping this winter, I can pour out a lot of love in ink.  God has provided so many opportunities for me.  I am so thankful for His great gifts.

Tomorrow is church and I can hardly wait to go.  I am making new friends and filling my heart with great knowledge and wisdom.

Maybe tomorrow, I can get back to writing about the pasture, sheep and shepherds.  I have so much to share.

The promise for today is:  Your life comes from Me because you are My offspring.  Acts 17: 28

Until tomorrow!  Sleep well and arise with a new spirit.
May love flow from my  ink into your heart.
Mary Kay
