August 25, 2017

Good Afternoon!

Waiting for the storm to hit.  They call him, HARLEY!  Praying for those that need protection and guidance.  I have several friends at the coast.  They are already going to higher ground.  We sit on a little hill so I feel safe.  I will never forget the flood in Wimberley a couple years ago. It will be engraved in my thoughts and heart forever.  God's people reached out and helped those in need.

I am reminded about how the wildflowers need storms.  The wind knocks off and scatters the seed. Maybe it is like that today.  Then the sun shines and God plants the seed with His love.  Some of those seeds find death.

This morning, I read some great little one liners and thoughts.  I save most of them.  Next week, I am going to try and spend more time writing on my book.  I took a little break this week with other things that came up unexpected.

The far left has reared it's ugly head with hate and anger.  I have noticed that God's people are standing up and fighting back.  After reading the Bible several times, I am at peace that God has it under control.  He will have the enemy fight with each other until they are destroyed.  Satan will never have victory. Christ already won what victory on the cross.   God's way is my way.
Pray for hearts to soften and repentance to  flood in.

Next week, I am going to start writing to enhance and define my chapters.  It will be a copy and paste time for me.  I am learning so much along the way.  I also plan to take more pictures and go into detail about the people that influenced  my life.  For the most part, I have found beauty within my past after years of searching for it.  It was all about my strength and courage as a child growing into a lady who  now wears the crown of silver.  I will exchange some day for a gold one.

The promise for today is:  I will keep you safe from the evil one.   1 John 5:18

My ink flows with love.

Love, Mary Kay
