August 23, 2017

Good Morning,

Rejoicing in a beautiful morning.  God is showing me so many new things.  It often happens after struggling.  Encouraging and uplifting others has always been my happiness.  However, not everyone wants my encouragement and I am learning that is my cue to seek God for my love and understanding.  What a gift that is! Life is passing by and so fast.  No time to waste.

My day will be quiet, full of writing, and a little trip to the grocery store.  I love a day like this!
Retirement has many blessings and this is one of them.

After some much needed grocery items, I came home for a little nap.  After supper, I worked on my little mini junk journals.  They are starting to look so good.  When I am done with these, I plan to put them away and finish two small junk journals, I have been working on.  John has been busy early in the morning putting some little wooden boxes together for Christmas gifts.

Friday, we plan to do some shopping.  A few little items needed from Lowes and Hobby Lobby.

We have possible rain from the hurricane coming to the coast.  That is good.  We need some rain.

I must get in bed early.  I pray your tomorrow is full of joy and peace.

The promise for today is:  Your sadness my last for a night, but joy will come in the morning.

My ink flows with love.

Love, Mary Kay
