Medicine

Good Morning!

The house is quiet!  Oh, wait the coo-koo clock just struck 5 a.m..  John will be up any minute to take his medicine.  He has a doctor's appointment on Thursday so maybe they will take him off some of it.  He is very routine about getting up and taking his medicine.  He returns to bed shortly after 5:15.  Sometimes, he gives me a list of things to do.  I pretend not to hear him.  :)

Today, I come with a warning to understand and read the directions on your medicine.  When I had pneumonia, I was so sick, I just took the medicine and rolled over and went back to sleep.  It is important to understand your medicine or have someone that does.  After 20 days of taking Levofloxiacin, I read the side effects.  Oh, my!  The side effects my lead to disability or death.  The chance of irritated or torn tendons is greater in people over the age of 60.  Nerve problems may cause burning, numbness, pain or weakness in arms, hands, legs or feet.  My feet burn and are very swelled.  I feel like my whole body is retaining fluids.  Now what do my feet have to do with my lungs?  I have never been fond of that  doctor, but Obama Care drips down into my insurance.  I believe that doctor is a democrat because he is rude and arrogant. He probably gave me that medicine on purpose.  I changed doctors on the last visit.  I will now see a woman doctor and her reviews sound more like what I am wanting. I have complete faith that I will overcome all of this because of love and faith in God.  He will heal me completely. Soon Obama Care will be gone for good.  He sure did mess with lots of lives.

23 days until Spring.  Spring in the Hill Country of Texas is beautiful.  I can hardly wait for the sun to shine, the flowers to bloom and chatting with my friends on the front porch.  John and I hope to spend more time in the back yard putting in some color.  John has started lots of projects, so he will be busy.

Yesterday, was Bible study.  A study on the red letter verses from Jesus.  A great group of woman and the teacher is great.  She talked about the Jewish Jesus and lots of little trivia pieces of history.  It was great.

The promise for today is:  I have blotted out your sins and dissolved them like the mist.
                                                                                                Isaiah 44:22

I continue to ask God, to love like He does and forgive like Jesus does.  Everyday is a challenge, but I know He will help me.

Have a beautiful day.  Walk in love and forgiveness.

Love is in the ink.

Love, Mary Kay
