Day 12

Shalom,

All day, I felt a little lost and down and than boom!  I remembered I never wrote in my journal.  I always start my day with the Father, but today, I slept in and John had an appointment to have a ABI in New Braunfels.  Now for my non medical readers that is a procedure to see how his blood pressure in his leg is doing with the new vein.  Just as he got out of the Journey, he hit his head on the door.  He came into the office with blood dripping down his face.  It was a busy morning, but we made it.

John's itching is better today.  Praise the Lord!  Now it is his head. He keeps me busy.  Myself reward for putting up with itching, a cut on the forehead and doctor visits was a long nap this afternoon.  It was wonderful and I feel so much better.  John had left overs and I had a tuna sandwich.  Life was good at our house this afternoon.

That mirror story has had me thinking.  I don't take care of that lady in the mirror.  Now it is time to do that.  Our driveway is a great place to get some leg work out started.  I will start tomorrow with  two lapse with the weights and see if I can commit to it for a week.  If I can than I can add a lap.
It is the little steps with a big reward.  I would love to walk the neighbor but I can't out run dogs anymore.  They are suppose to be fenced and not running.  Respect is a lost character for some.

Today's lesson is on planting a SEED. Luke 17: 5-6 is the scripture story.  A little seed as in a mustard seed with faith as big as a tree.  Wow!  The workbook asked for an example of something I planted and with God's favor, I accomplished it with faith.  I believe it was attending Texas State University at  age 62 walking across that stage to receive my diploma.  It was a great day to see the harvest of all the hard work.  I continue to miss the days at school.  I love to learn new things.  I believe this Prayer Challenge helps with that love to learn.  I am learning!  God gives the report card.  :)  I plant and God provides the growth.

The key takeaway is:  If we do the little things like they are big things, then God will do the big things like they are little things.

I need to plant some love, kindness and thankfulness.  Why?  Because that is the harvest I desire.

The promise for today is:

That a wonderful day that will be!

Time to put the lap top away and settle into a good book.  I appreciate your time with me and please come again.  I am asking God to bless you and keep you close to His heart.

Love is in the ink!
Love is in my heart!
Love, Mary Kay
