Winter

Shalom!

Not much news today.  I worked all day in my little craft area.  Tomorrow, I will bake chocolate chip cookies for the young men at church.  John didn't feel good this morning, so he slept in.  About two o'clock, I went to the grocery store where Joey works.  I delivered little Christmas trees, I made.  I need to make some more and take pictures for you.  It is starting to feel like Christmas.

It was cold today for Texas.  I don't like winter here or anywhere  I have decided to stay home until Spring.  I love the kitchen and a nap on the sofa, under a couple nice warm blankets.  I found some great Christmas tea, with just the right spices.  Now if I can get John to keep my tea cup full of hot water and tuck me in ................I will be happy.  I have a stack of books to read and I can always write in my journal.

The promise for today is:  I am your rock and your salvation, a fortress that cannot be shaken.
                                                              Psalm 62:2

Going to bed early!  May the love that was born in the stable find a place for you tonight and all each day forward.  His love is lavish.

Love is in the ink.

Psalm 103:1-5New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 103

Of David.

Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins
    and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
