The Stars are Bright! Welcome to my World!
The Spirit of Christmas entered my soul today. I am full of joy and excited for the season of giving.
My hands have been busy, putting finishing touches on my Christmas creations. John has done a great job on the little wooden boxes, I requested a few months ago. I hung the ice skates and the Christmas socks on the porch. The little tree is perfect for a small but meaningful Christmas. Tomorrow, I will put the wire back up over the kitchen sink. I took it down when the kitchen was painted. This season will be a Christmas tree for each member of my family. Even if they don't come, I am prepared if they have a change of heart. Nothing is impossible with my God.
Changed up my prayers today for my children and grandchildren. I asked Jesus, to fill their minds with memories of Christmas pasts. I asked that their thoughts would be filled with forgiveness and memories of family. May the thoughts turn to a desire to call or come over. Angels are on the way. When I think of angels, I think of them as hosts. So many that it would be impossible to count them. I took this picture to share what I am doing. Everyone will have their own tree on the line. My reminder to pray and ask for angels to watch over them. If I can get through the next couple of weeks, I will be doing great. Have a little shopping to do. I will decorate each tree with buttons and little jewels. I cut the trees out of a wall paper book. The green doesn't show up very good, but it is perfect.
Angels have interested me for some time. I have had a couple encounters with
several of them. It has been a long time ago. I know several people that see them. I want to be able to see them. I shall ask the King!
Tonight, I will skip the meaning of angels and go right to the verse that brought my attention to angels tonight. I was reading the Christmas story in Matthew and there it was.
But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. Matthew 2:20
A great miracle took place in that dream and what a mission for that angel. A baby, an angel, shepherds and wonderful parents, all inspired by God to do great things. Follow that star! What a wonderful Christmas message. Thank you, Jesus!
The promise for today is: My family in heaven and on earth is named after Me. Ephesians 3: 14-15
I have tons to do today, so I guess I better shut the lap top and say, "Until we meet again." May the Lord wrap you in His arms like a great Christmas gift and love on you. Thank you for coming by. I am asking God to send angels to watch over you and usher you into a great Christmas season.
Love is in the ink.
Mary Kay
