Renewed!

Greetings!

Dark 6'ish out!  The days go by so fast.  This week has been a whole lot of running around.  Praying tomorrow, I can stay home and work on my junk journals.  I have about a dozen ready to put the final touches on.  I need to clean up my craft corner  and organize.  I can make a mess in no time at all.

John got a great report from the NP yesterday.  We went to Dripping Springs, because that is where he is served under the VA Choice program.  He has lots of doctors and keeping up with it  is a circus.  She refers John and okays all his visits out of  the VA system.  We need health care like it use to be before Obama's Organized Crime took over.   We never had all these problems.  I feel sorry for the young people that try to keep up with major health care needs.  No one can afford this criminal act of health insurance.  The doctors don't even like it.  In God, I trust!  He will take care of all of this.

This is a great place to look at my word for the day.  Renewed!  According to Merriam-Webster  it means to make like new, restore to freshness, vigor, or perfection.  Some other words associated with the meaning were regenerate, revive, rebuild, and repeat.  I needed that word after this crazy week of running around.  I need to restore my vigor  to memorize and journal.

The Bible verse, picked for the word Renewed is: Therefore we do not lose heart, but though  outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.  2 Corinthians 4: 16.

He is so faithful.  Always allowing His people the opportunity to be renewed.  I may stumble and fall but His forgiving nature allows  me to start over.  I am so thankful for the promises of my great Lord.

The promise for today is:  Every word of every promise that I have made will come to pass.
                                                                   1 Kings 8:56

Now to renew my commitment to memorize Psalm 103.  I am adding verse 5 today.

1. Praise the LORD O my soul, all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--
3. who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
4. who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
5. who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

It is being planted deep into my heart.

Don't forget to pray for Zach, the restoring of my daughter and family back into our family, and the many sick and sorrowful.  Christmas is a lonely time for some.  Reach out with some Jesus love.

May the words of my faithful and loving Jesus, bless you and keep you as you read His word.

Love is in the ink.
Mary Kay
