Good Evening!

The stars are out and the house is very quite.  I am close to entering a sweet sleep.  John is already in bed.  I look forward to being rested for tomorrow.  Fall is in the air!  Cool mornings and evenings are welcomed after a long hot summer.  I love the summer but this year it seemed hotter.  Maybe it is because John doesn't always feel good and I have been staying closer to home. The backyard looks a little bare but we didn't plant like we usually do.

The kitchen and I spent most of the day together.  I cleaned the counter goods and put some things away.  John and I made a grocery list together,  I made John some nachos and than I made a big pot of chicken tortilla soup. Labor day was just a great day to be together and take it easy.  John didn't feel so good to start the morning out.  I am concerned about him as he is short of breathe and often puffy in his face.  He went back to bed and when he got up he looked so much better.

A friend of mine wrote a book and I have only read half of it.  I want to finish. I want to know the ending.  She is the host to the writer's circle, I belong to.  She is very talented and a great hostess.  She wants to connect fully with Wimberley and the people that live in it.  I love being around her.

My friend, Jeanie and I have been friends since 7th grade.  I have been thinking about writing about her.  Maybe tomorrow.  I love that girl.  She is honest, true and faithful about calling me.  She has great value in my life.

The 5 ~~~ I am's continue.

I am...

16.   Strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might (Ephesians 6:10)
17.   Doing All Things through Christ Who Strengthens Me (Philippians 4:13)

19.  Heir to the blessings of Abraham  (Galatians 3: 13 and 14)
20.  Observing and Doing the Lords' Commandments  (Deuteronomy 28:12)

Promise for today:  My thoughts toward you outnumber the sand on the seashore.  Psalm 139: 17-18

My ink flows with love!
Love, Mary Kay
