Howdy,
I serve a mighty God. He provides and never takes His eyes off of me and my family. I am so grateful for HIS faithfulness. Today, I had two surprises in the mail. One was a refund check from the hospital and the other one was the electric bill. I thought it would be double and yet it was only a few dollars over normal. The air conditioner has run a lot. However, we close the blinds and all the curtains so the sun doesn't creep in. We don't go in and out like we use to either. It is working!
Our church had a lovely sandwich lunch yesterday to talk to those interested in volunteering in different areas of the church. They are so professional and the program was not pushy or finger pointing. Well organized! I am going to reach out in the hospitality area and stay low keyed. I want to help but sometimes, I feel I am in the way.
This is a short blog tonight. I am tired and wanting to find the bed early.
The promise for today is: I bind up the brokenhearted and I will comfort all who mourn.
