Rain

Greetings!

Today has been rainy and gloomy.  Spring can't come soon enough.

Ted Cruz just called me.  He is having a rally in New Braunfels tomorrow to promote a man running for congress.  It is about 18 miles from here.  I would love to go, but crowds and I don't work well together,   I love Ted Cruz and look forward to seeing photos and reading news about the big event.  Ted Cruz has Christian values and works hard for the good of America.

My legs are still giving me a problem due to the medicine, I took for pneumonia.  I am going to the doctor on the 13th.  I feel like I have fluid on my legs and feet.  I know, I will be okay but in the mean time it is annoying.

Today, we bought a new (to us)  2017, Dodge Journey.  It is steal gray in color.  Drives smooth and feels a lot like a truck.  Joey will be driving the Mustang until he gets on his feet.  It is a family thing! I will take pictures when we have sunshine. I need to read and study the manual and learn about all the features, that are new to me ,  John hasn't been driving since his heart attack,  Today, he drove the Mustang to where Joey works.  He did great.  He followed me and I was pleased at his ability to get right back behind the wheel.  We both like staying home, so I don't see a lot of miles mounting up on the Journey.  Four doors are nice at our age. :)

The books came yesterday for the 40 day Prayer Challenge.  I started reading the first chapter and I am so excited to start this challenge.  If you have a prayer request, please email me.  I am very serious about improving my prayer life  I will start my day on my knees with a prayer journal.  God is moving in my life and I am humbled to accomplish His calling.

The promise for today is:

We serve a powerful God and He is crazy about us.

It is time to go, but I wanted you to know that I care about you and I am praying for God to bless you and protect you.

Until tomorrow!  I am learning to love and forgive like Jesus does.

Love is in the ink!

Love, Mary Kay
