Good Morning!
Reading my Bible from the start to the end again. This time, I am taking notes and reading the commentaries. I am blessed! The title of this post was found somewhere in that morning reading. The thoughts of thickets and thorns opened my thinking and creative juices. I see the rose in the middle of thickets and thorns. God is so big and powerful. Adam and Eve messed up but God gave them another chance to carry on. He has done that for me so many times, I can't even count them all. Life has it struggles but with God they don't last long. He clears the way for beauty.
Yesterday, I coffee dyed paper all afternoon. I had wet paper laying all over. Waiting to dry! Some great pieces were created. I have a new stash to work from now. Soon, I can move out in my craft area and find a place for keeping the paper safe and ready. I also made spaghetti and meat balls for supper. Joey suggested that. Garlic bread was a side kick. It was a hit!
Lots to do today. Washing, organizing and several phone calls to make. It is still cold today. Al Gore failed the thermostat test. He filled his pockets with money as our stupid looked the other way. The weatherman said, "Warming up for the weekend. Praise the Lord! So thankful for President Trump! Happy God is once again recognized as weatherman of the year.
Look in the mirror and tell yourself................"I am a rose and the apple of God's eye."
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength." They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.. Isaiah 40: 31
Hope is my word for the year. I am soaring. I will run and not grow weary. Can't wait to see what God does in my life and yours.
The promise for today is: The intentions of My heart will remain steadfast forever. Psalm 33:11
