Greetings!
Passing through the valley of the shadow of death has been exhausting. I don''t have the flu. I have pneumonia In my right lung. Powerful antibodies are working as I touch the keys. It all started last Thursday. I was standing at the counter at the deli at the grocery story and my legs just gave out. It scared everyone and they called the ambulance. I checked out at the ER and came home. For the next two days, I continued to fall without notice. I had a doctor's appointment for that Tuesday from some followup blood work and the chest x-ray showed the problem. I use to have pneumonia often when I was younger, but I never remember death valley. The coughing is getting loose and today, I was able to come to the table.
My son's boss made a huge pot of stew for John and I. We will be eating with Norman for several days and beyond. I froze most of it. My sweet neighbor, Debbie made a pot of Texas Tortilla soup that sure helped. John was happy. I have hadn't any appetite, but it will come back. John has been so good to me and I think this all scared him. Joey has waited on me and taken me to the doctor. I love that boy. Lots of flu in Texas. Wash your hands and stay away from sick people.
God spoke to me about pray one night during a fall. All answers hing on great prayer warriors and obedience. He is the God that moves mountains and heals. I knew He was with me. He heard the prayers.
Tomorrow may not bring ink on the blog, but I did want you to know that I will be back.
He never fails me! More to come!
Love is in the ink.
Love Mary Kay
