Greetings from the Beautiful Hill Country of Texas!
Many of my neighbors in Houston are not feeling what I just shared. I know that God will see them through this mess and soon life will be back to somewhat normal. For some this has been life changing and hopefully they leaned on God to see and hear his power and grace. He was in the boat or walking on the water the whole time. He loves His children!
John and I took a little trip to San Marcos to Lowe's. He needed a new toilet seat, a saw blade and I needed a quart of paint and some sandpaper. Then we went over to Sam's for a few items. The gas lines are long here at the Lake. The trucks have not been able to deliver out of Houston. The refiners will all have to be checked for safety features first. I filled up early this morning and I should be good for the week or even a little more. The price is also suppose to raise along with lumber. Praying this will not last long. Maybe it is time for new refiners to be built away from the coast for times like this.
Luke`1: 49-53 was what I read this morning. He came to divide! I have some studying to do on this. I can't wait to read more about this. The end is coming soon! I am ready! Are you? I love researching new words and concepts. Each day, I love my Lord more and trust that He is in control of my life. When He comes back, I pray he finds me serving.
The promise for today is: You can look forward to the new heaven and earth that I promised.
2 Peter 3:13.
Tomorrow is a new day.
My ink flows with love.
Mary Kay
