August 18, 2017

Greetings,

The King reads my blog.  Praise the Lord!  My goal is to glorify him. He is all powerful and mighty.
I had some anger in my spirit and I opened His word and it fell on the Psalms.  His word is so comforting to me.

John has been very busy out in his workshop again.  He made some sweet little wooden boxes for me to fix for Christmas gifts.  It is so good to see him out and creating again. It has been a miracle after all the days during and after his heart attack.  He is just now gaining some strength.  Many days I cried at the emotional strain it put on both of us.  It has been  a close time for me to serve him.    We had never lived so close to death.  I no longer take life for granted   I am very thankful that God has given us added days to our lives together.

We are very content to stay home and enjoy what we have.  We are even starting to dream again.  We take naps, go to bed early and enjoy early morning coffee.  Our neighbors are great.  They have checked on us faithfully.  All the things we love our in our home.  We are surrounded with sweet accumulated memories.  After most doctor appointments we have went out to eat or done a little shopping for groceries.  While John was so sick, one of the church's here at the lake started to call and pray for us over the phone.  They offered to help mow the lawn or any other things we needed done.  That church just emerged with another struggling congregation and it has proven to be a great choice.  The building is a sweet little country building and very traditional.  It is amazing to see the people that flow into that little church each Sunday.  I am blessed!  John is starting to go again and I am sure he will feel the same in due time.

Enjoy those around you.  Loving others brings great blessings in ones life.

Until the ink flows with love again.
Mary Kay
